The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
3. Data collection on this website
Cookies
This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that your browser creates automatically and stores on your device when you visit our site.
We use only technically necessary cookies required to operate the site. These cookies are used to remember your cookie preferences and to ensure basic functionality.
The following cookies are set:
| Cookie name | Purpose | Storage period | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent | Stores your cookie preferences | 365 days | Strictly necessary |
In addition, we load the Meta Pixel (Facebook) — only with your active consent via the cookie banner. When loaded, it sets the `_fbp` cookie (Meta, 90 days, reach and campaign measurement) and, where applicable, `fr`. Without your consent no analytics or marketing cookies are stored and no data is transmitted to Meta. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the `cookie-consent` cookie in your browser.
Server log files
The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us. These are:
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer
- time of the server request
- IP address
These data are not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide there, including the contact details, are stored with us to handle the enquiry and for any follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time.
4. External services
Google Fonts (self-hosted)
This site uses Google Fonts to render typography consistently. The fonts are hosted locally on our server and are not loaded from external Google servers. As a result, no data is transferred to Google when you visit our website.
Meta Pixel (Facebook)
This website uses the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta"). The Meta Pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant ads to people who have visited this website (retargeting).
The Meta Pixel is only loaded once you have given your explicit consent via the cookie banner. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. Without consent the script is not loaded and no data is sent to Meta.
Once the script has loaded, Meta collects, among other things, your IP address, browser and device information, the URLs you visit, and a pseudonymous user-ID cookie (`_fbp`). This data is transmitted to Meta and may also be transferred to the United States. Meta is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers additionally rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
For the processing carried out via the Meta Pixel, we act as joint controllers with Meta (Art. 26 GDPR). The corresponding arrangement is available at facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. Further information on Meta's processing can be found in Meta's data policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the `cookie-consent` cookie in your browser. Data already collected is not affected.
5. Your rights
Within the framework of applicable law, you have the right, at any time, to:
- free information about your stored personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure of your stored data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you have the right to complain to the relevant supervisory authority.
6. SSL/TLS encryption
For security and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar changing from 'http://' to 'https://' and by the padlock icon in your browser bar.
7. Validity and updates
